Larry Best
About the Best Family
Emax Plastics was founded by Ev Best, from Alberta, Canada in 1978. The trajectory of Emax Plastics soared with the exclusive distribution partnership with Proline Pipe Equipment Inc., notably in providing pipeline stands used by multinational companies throughout the world.
By the early 90’s, Ev’s son, Larry slowly took charge of the business. Further accolades followed, driven by the increasing demand from Canada Parks for floating marinas. Larry soon began showcasing his ingenuity in designing float kits and strategic navigational buoy markers.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Larry, a reserved family man, finds joy in the company of his four children and six grandchildren.
During his leisure hours, Larry immerses himself in writing new CNC programs, addressing challenges, and contemplating ways to enhance quality, production and efficiency for Emax Plastics. His interests extend to offshore fishing and relishing moments spent on the open sea.
In 2000, Travis Best, Larry’s son, joined the team and is the current General Manager.
